The
Dubroom reviews a lot of different material, from
musical to educational to beneficial and more.
We've got music, but also material for artists and
producers as well as researchers of more conscious
material. As always, when the Dubroom reviews
something, this means that this website considers
the material at least fair. So don't expect any
negative reviews. When it's here, we recommend it.
Period.

RASTAFARI |
This
is the video section of our little sub-site
at rastafari.dubroom.org. It's not about the
"yeah man feel ire" things, it is
about the Ethiopian Emperor and the Movement
that carries his name. Get to know more
about Haile Selassie, Marcus Garvey, and
other important figures as well as many
aspects related to Rastafari. Find out for
yourself just why many people recognize
truth and spiritual signs in this Movement
that stands for black liberation as much as
equality and justice for all among the rest.

DAWN OF THE
DREADS
DUBROOM VIDEO
REVIEW |
WWW,
December 2008 - This short movie gives
sights and sounds to a conflict and dilemma
that is not really there, either...
Is
dreadlocks a hairstyle, is it just for a
specific race or religion? Is Dread Rasta,
is Rasta Dread?

"RENT-A-RASTA"
DUBROOM VIDEO
REVIEW |
WWW,
September 2007 - In sight and sound,
"Rent a Rasta" portays the many
fronts in which Babylon fights the Movement
of Rastafari in Jamaca. How slavery
continues until this very day.
When
Babylon "discovered" the "New
World", the original inhabitants were
either killed or ghetto-ized while millions
of Africans were taken from their homes to
work as slaves on the land that was stolen
by their slave masters.

SLAVERY IN
JAMAICA
DUBROOM VIDEO
REVIEW |
WWW,
September 2007 - After the original
inhabitants were killed, Africans were taken
to Jamaica to work as slaves under a
torturous rule by the state sanctioned slave
masters.
It's just a
small clip, only two minutes long. Long
enough to introduce Jamaican people, a proud
people, to show some of the torture devices,
and even to have a small interview with a
Jamaican minister.
Long enough
to provide some food for thought, too.

DIGGING FOR
THE TRUTH - THE ARK IN ETHIOPIA
DUBROOM VIDEO
REVIEW |
In
this four-part documentary, we are taken to
the land that has more to do with the
movement of Rastafari than any other country
on the face of the planet: Ethiopia! Not
only is it the oldest Christian Nation on
the earth, as the Bible documents in the
book of Acts, there are also many claims
that the Ark of the Covenant is actually
present in Ethiopia, too.

THE RISE OF
RASTA
DUBROOM VIDEO
REVIEW |
In
this two-part documentary, we are being
treated with the history of the Movement of
Rastafari, from the start to the situation
in contemporary Jamaica.
Some
elements in the video might be hard to
follow for non-Jamaicans, as there is no
subtitling. That's why this in-depth review
actually contains a description of the whole
two-part video.
