SANDRA
CROSS AND MAD PROFESSOR WITH WILD BUNCH -
CREATION (1982)
WWW,
April 2008 - Over 26 years ago, the Mad
Professor was already mixing it up live
while band and vocalists play some upfull
righteous Roots Reggae.
One of the things that the Mad Professor is known
for, other than his excellent DUB releases, is the
fact that he has given a stage for, even basically
created the phenomenon of the "Roots
Daughters": female Reggae vocalists singing
conscious lyrics over serious music.
Sistren like Aisha and also Sandra Cross, who
was a member of a band called the Wild Bunch
before going solo. In this video, we catch up with
them all in a historic performance that will
thrill the lover of Conscious Roots Reggae, both
young and old.
Blessed!
