| Sly
and Robbie's production skills easily match
their super tight playing of the drum and
bass. Their progressive approach, decade
after decade, produced a number of classic
and even legendary styles and countless
tracks.
They've been the leading forces behind
several Channel One Studio bands, as well as
numerous groups and projects. One of Sly and
Robbie's projects was call BLACK UHURU.
In this high quality video from the mid
1980's, we see Michael Rose and the other
members of Black Uhuru as well as Sly and
Robbie in what was then considered modern or
even futuristic.
With a heavy emphasis on Dub techniques
and other effects, mainly electronic, the
Riddim Twins were anticipating on the era
that would follow years after this video was
released, an era of electronic, drum and
bass driven dance music.
