heard of Merger? They were kind of crucial
back in the late 1970's in the UK. In this
historical footage from UK TV, recorded for
a dancing audience, we're treated to a live
performance of the track Biko by this band.
The sound quality isn't exactly great,
but the 6 ½ minute performance definitely is. Jazzy improvisation,
still everything well tight, a topic
(apartheid) that will do something with
everyone: in short here we have another wonderful
piece of Reggae Music.
Something must be said about the
audience, too. They can't help it,
obviously. At least, not anymore. But when
you take a good look, or not even such a
good look, you can't help but let's say
notice the difference with today.
