MACKA B - WHEN THE RACIST COMES
(LIVE, 1998)

the man who brought us the phrase
"Roots Ragga", here's a recording
from a 1998 performance with the Robotiks
and the Mad Professor. In a heavy style and
with words that can't be misinterpreted,
Macka B chants down racism while the band
and the crowd agree wholeheartedly.
At a certain moment, live DUB mixing and
playing starts. With Mad Professor at the
controls, and the band playing it
skillfully, something that simply cannot be
refused! After that, Macka B takes over
again and lets the crowd sing along. Time
for a little DUB again, after which Macka B
starts to chant a little more. Towards the
end of the video, the camera turns to the
hands of the Mad Professor as he controls
the mixing board.
