FOR THE TRUTH - THE ARK IN ETHIOPIA? |
| In
this four-part documentary, we are taken to
the land that has more to do with the
movement of Rastafari than any other country
on the face of the planet: Ethiopia! Not
only is it the oldest Christian Nation on
the earth, as the Bible documents in the
book of Acts, there are also many claims
that the Ark of the Covenant is actually
present in Ethiopia, too.
What about these claims? Can something
more be said than just the fact that the
claim is there? This documentary -originally
aired on the History Channel- tries to shed
some light on what is at least a very
interesting issue.

this two-part documentary, we are being
treated with the history of the Movement of
Rastafari, from the start to the situation
in contemporary Jamaica.
Some elements in the video might be hard
to follow for non-Jamaicans, as there is no
subtitling. That's why this in-depth review actually
contains a description of the whole two-part
video.
It is a must-see for everyone, if
only to get a better look on just how the
music we all love so much actually came into
existence.

actually see a debate between a Rasta and
someone who has criticism against Rastafari.
And there are a number of guests with
interesting things to say about the topic.
Obviously the topic is heavyweight and so
the debate is, too.

SELASSIE ON "MEET THE PRESS" |
| In
this historical piece of footage from the
American programme "Meet The
Press", Haile Selassie is announced as
the direct descendant of Solomon and Sheba,
before the press can start asking him
questions.
Questions, that Haile Selassie answered
in Ethiopian Amharic. But HIM knew English
and therefore the translation can be
trusted.
Questions, that are often not really that
good, either. Alltogether they radiate a
certain amount of ignorance, distrust, and
even fear.
