American programme "Meet The
Press", Haile Selassie is announced as
the direct descendant of Solomon and Sheba,
before the press can start asking him
questions.
Questions, that Haile Selassie answered
in Ethiopian Amharic. But HIM knew English
and therefore the translation can be
trusted.
Questions, that are often not really that
good, either. Alltogether they radiate a
certain amount of ignorance, distrust, and
even fear.
Answers, that are -although difficult to
decipher because of the bad recording- quite
clear: here is a man who has a heart for the
emancipation of Black People world wide, for
the African continent and for the
elimination of racism.
We will hear about HIM's struggle against
colonialism in Africa and about his adress
to the United Nations. We will hear about
HIM's strong support of education, and the
Black Struggle in the USA and elsewhere.
