announced as an MC or Toaster ("Reggae
Rapper"). Macka B. has recorded a lot
of crucial material at Mad Professor's ARIWA
Sounds Studio, and he is known for his
conscious and inteligent lyrics.

Israel Vibration will clearly never be the
same without the three original members
present, this live piece of footage from a
Reggae Festival the South of Germany is
still well worth a look.

DUB engineer the Scientist, like his teacher
King Tubby, was well versed in the
complicated world of electronic. Building
his own equipment, therefore, is a part of
his skills.
Of course the situation is now way
better, technically, than back in the
1970's. But that only enlarges the final
result, as we can see.

SELASSIE ON "MEET THE PRESS" |
| In
this historical piece of footage from the
American programme "Meet The
Press", Haile Selassie is announced as
the direct descendant of Solomon and Sheba,
before the press can start asking him
questions.
Questions, that Haile Selassie answered
in Ethiopian Amharic. But HIM knew English
and therefore the translation can be
trusted.
Questions, that are often not really that
good, either. Alltogether they radiate a
certain amount of ignorance, distrust, and
even fear.
