takes Guy Malone just over an hour to make a
very strong case for his statement, that the
ancient Book of Enoch is deliberately kept
out of the Bible since the fourth century in
order to seriously cover up crucial
knowledge about the "Days of
Noah".
According to Genesis 6, evil angels
called watchers came down to earth and raped
women in order to create a giant offspring
that eventually threatened the very existence
of mankind. The Book of Enoch
expands on this event that was the very
reason for the Great Flood.
Direct quotes from the Book of Enoch in
the New Testament, labeled as
"prophecy" in the text of the
Scripture as well as many other references point out to the fact that the Book was
considered scripture in the time the Bible
books were written.
The Roman church banned the Book of
Enoch, though. The Ethiopian Church,
however, preserved it and even kept it as a
part of their canon until the day of
today.
In 1947, archaeological findings near Qumran
produced what we now know as the Dead
Sea Scrolls. Copies of the Book of Enoch
were found in several languages, indicating
that it was a highly studied book. And the
copies pre-dated the Christian era, which
was kind of interesting.
The contents of the Book of Enoch,
namely, is highly "Messianic" in
nature. Everywhere it points out to Yesus
the Messiah. Even further, the Book speaks
about the Messiah being God Himself. The
Messiah is continually called "Son of
man", a phrase we know Yesus often used
to refer to Himself.
In fact, when Yesus would call Himself
Son of man, He would tell the scribes and Pharisees: "Look, I am the One Who
Enoch saw". The scribes and Pharisees considered that blasphemy and condemned
Yesus.
Main-stream theology however denies the
Book of Enoch. They will not accept the
things Enoch describes about the watchers,
the fallen angels. But when you realize that
the reason for the Great Flood, the reason
why the early Hebrews had to kill people
before they could enter the promised land,
had to do with the fact that these
"people" were no "sons
of man" or humans, things make more
sense.
